We represent students who are being harassed or bullied.

These students have rights that can and should be protected.

When a school is aware that students are being bullied, it is required by law to investigate and to take action. This is true whether a student is being bullied by school staff or by peers. The school must end the bullying, and ensure that it does not recur.

Unfortunately, despite the law, schools often fail to investigate and to act. If your child’s school knows that he or she is being bullied, but has still refused to act, call us. Sometimes an attorney’s letter to the right person will get results. If not, an appeal can be taken to the State Education Department.

Your child has rights. No child has to put up with being bullied in school day after day.
